Moving to a café would be good. It might solve my touchpad/mouse dilemma. With the added bonus of an endless stream of pastries and pomme frites. Although I write about technological and corporate innovation, today I have the unenviable task a revamping a partially mobile-friendly website that was started in 2012 to bring it up to current standards. I get to dance around inside CSS and play with code only to be foiled by the touchpad on my laptop which frequently deletes large swaths of text on a whim.
I truly hate dealing with a mouse so I’ll continue suffering with my evil touchpad which always deletes something just as I’m about to save it! This needs to be added to my long list of boomer deficiencies which include double spacing after periods and occasionally using a telephone for its actual purpose of calling people.
